AUTOMATIKI'm not one of those people who thinks welding any old hunk of metal to some other hunk of metal means you've got yourself a sweet candle holder or spoon rack or shoe lace organizer, but these lamps from Automatik, made from old car parts, are really cleverly designed. I will say they are kind of "dude-ish" but then again, I'm not dating a guy with a pink lace lampshade on his bedside, unless it is some kind of post-modern statement about pink lampshades... so these would make good gifts for the men in your lives, or the butch girls, or maybe a belated Father's Day present?
